I’m happy about this because I’ve always been curious about the mysterious forces (whether they be medical, magical, or other-worldly) that caused the rapid aging that ravaged most of the Rydell students, especially Kenickie and Rizzo.

I’m very excited and extremely honored to be embarking on new and exciting adventures with the excellent brothers* at Warners. (*
Not all the people that work there are related. Apparently. And the Warner sister)”
But it is about power lol. When you're an abusive POS who gets off on having complete power over another person, having women willingly throw themselves at you in exchange for money or fame isn't enough.
Yes, let's blame the women and not the men who abuse women and the billion dollar industry that enables said abuse.
I will always enjoy her for giving us Actually Ellen, That’s Not True.
they’ve been coasting for a long time and blowing a lot of money on stuff people haven’t been watching at all, and at worse it has actively been bad pr for them.
I saw the trailer for this and it looked...batsh*t. Like INSANE. So much so that when it drops on a streaming network I have, I will watch the f*ck out of this.
Ehh... I agree that his infidelity, using feminism as a shield, and inappropriate workplace romances weren’t what sank his career, but it’s not like there isn’t an element of using his power over women in the workplace to his own advantage, no matter how much he insists he was “powerless.”
It was pretty weird, and you’d think that a guy who clearly has a love and extensive command of language would have been able to understand how badly those answers make him come off. Self-aggrandizing, self-victimizing, blame-shifting and accepting almost zero responsibility. He’s like one of his own villains.
Thinking back, something I realized made the article have such a weird tone is that Whedon’s answers were constantly so absurd that the writer herself didn’t really know what to do with them. There have been interviews like that published before and there is an approach to them where you try to create a neutral space…
What we’d really love would be a revival of pre-Spanfeller AV Club.
Godspeed, Dowd! Hope to see (plus) you writing somewhere else real soon!
This is exactly the type of lazy, cowardly pettiness that I’d expect from him.
It is hard to overstate just how...mediocre it is.
If Netflix keeps this up, it’s going to backfire on them. I suspect there are a lot of people out there like me, who have kept Netflix for years, just out of habit. I started at $8-9 dollars per month. I tolerated it when it jumped to $14 last year because it was the first increase in a long time. But now that they’re…
I’ve heard that argument against a Quantum Leap reboot before and I have never understood it.
Just going to keep leaving the Manimal and Small Wonder cash cows unmilked, eh? Come on, where’s my Empty Nest Fortnite skins? I swear, it’s like they hate money.
It says a lot about the quality of NewsRadio that it featured Joe Rogan and Andy Dick and yet is still an all-time great sitcom
Steve has always been my favorite of the men/romantic partners to the main characters. He is cute, funny, sexy, and caring. I always feel like he has gotten the short shrift when it comes to a story line, and how his character ends up. I think of all the characters (along with Harry) he is most deserving of a happily…
this is adorable. as a fan of 40s and 50s silhouettes, i say let the youths have their large hair and neon shoes. I love each and everyone of them for their commitment.
