I’m on the spectrum myself and got the same feeling. At best it could explain how he goes about some things, but certainly not the why. Neurodiversity is cool and we certainly shouldn’t try to all act in the same way (much as society may try to pressure us all) but we can still be decent human beings.

I like that at CNN, the headline for DMX’s passing is above the passing of Prince Phillip. I’ll take a rapper who clawed his way up who struggled and became an artist who spoke truth and poetry, over a fucking royal who had everything handed to him.  DMX was given half as much time, but did so much more.  

Any time I hear DMX, I always think back to my high school sports and weight room. You want to get fired up? You put on some motherfucking DMX. It’s impossible to not get hyped.

It’s a mess of an episode, but I thin a large part of the blame is on COVID. They had a storyline with a deadly virus pandemic that they scrapped because of COVID, that’s why there’s the subplot of the Flag Smashers stealing medicines and stuff leftover, which in turn means some episodes will have that patchwork feel…

I didn’t LOVE the 2016 movie, but I liked it well enough - the cast was appealing, enough of the jokes landed - and agree it absolutely didn’t deserve the reception it got.

It’s funny. Watching this just makes me angry and defensive on behalf of Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. Because to me, it’s by far the funniest and most interesting of the Ghostbusters movies. I’ve watched it with my kids probably half a dozen times at least. And it was ridiculed and many refused to give it a chance…
