The issue with Jenner is that she, many times, has referred to her desire to be an ambassador for the transgendered community. She was also more than willing to stand up and receive all the awards and praise and financial benefits that initially came with her revelation of who she was.

Could we not make this about trans women having male privilege please? That’s not how it works and isn’t required for a rich and famous white athlete to be a Trump supporter.

Well, if Ms. Jenner has an argument to make counter to what she was confronted with... she should have put it forward. Ms. Preston was forceful, but not abusive. Caitlyn Jenner had a chance to be a leader in a movement. She chose the wrong side.

I think that her point that the Trans Community, by using Jenner and by taking her money and her fame, are becoming complicit is really perceptive and wise. If that Trans Community is that opposed to Jenner’s actions and beliefs, they should stop using her.
