I kind of lost interest in this series after the second season. I tried to get into the third season, but it wasn’t great. I could barely make it through the first episode. Did it get better? Should I dive back in? Or was season 3 all as meh as it seemed? Is season 4 better than season 3?

It’s unfortunate that you guys have to publish their propaganda word for word to cover your asses legally.

I know this is an old article, but it’s great, and it really works. What I like about it most is that it taps into our innate sense of empathy. It also forces you as a parent to think about the impact your actions might have on other people, which is something we could all use a little more of. And I have used this a

I’d really love somebody to come up with a website dedicated to assholes like this, with their names, photos, and links to their current LinkedIn accounts, etc., with links to factual records and news reports.

You know, if it was Ranbir Kapoor marrying some younger, wealthy, white American actress/musician, the whole thing would be treated differently. Xenophobia and sexism go hand in hand in this, for sure.

Well THAT needs to change. Anybody who works with youth should be a mandated reporter, period.

This kind of (presumably evangelical) Christianity that makes you turn against your OWN CHILD for being gay or trans, etc., is nothing less than a cult. Her parents are definitely shitty people for doing this, but their church is also perpetuating horrifying social control mechanisms that are tearing up families and

I’m so sorry to hear this! And this may not help right this second, but I hope it will help in some way: a good friend of mine got into a motorcycle accident a few years ago that shattered his pelvis and thigh (his femur was in lots of little pieces that had to be painstakingly put back together surgically), and some

So, I finished another dissertation chapter this week. I’m sooooooo close to being done, and yet it feels so far away. Time’s running out so I have no choice but to plug away as fast as I can. I’ve long given up on perfect, and really just want something my committee will sign off on. Of course I’m still a

They may not be the queens we deserve, but they are the queens we need.

I’m kind of ambivalent about Pelosi. On the one hand, I do agree that fresh leadership (preferably a woman, or a person of color, or ideally, both!) would be great. On the other, nobody wrangles votes like Pelosi. And she’s perhaps the most successful non-presidential politician ever, in terms of fundraising, which is

It’s so offputting, except those column capitals as accent tables, which are gorgeous.

I totally disagree with her decision, as I said, but I don’t think piling on her is going to help. If she had been supported by a community that encouraged seeking help if things weren’t moving along (or were moving too quickly) or had specific signs to look out for, her baby might still be alive and well. But

Ugh, apparently New Hampshire allows electioneering anywhere outside the polling place, but not inside. I doubt anybody would change their vote at the last minute because of that lady, but it could certainly intimidate voters in a climate of escalating violence perpetrated by Trump supporters.

Internalized misogyny is a thing.

How far away were they? What are electioneering laws like in your state? Did you report it? This kind of shit infuriates me. And electioneering and voter intimidation and election fraud laws need to be strengthened.

And Republican leadership hasn’t strongly come out against any of this, instead they continue to fan the flames.

This is already a thing, and there are multiple organizations working to expand it, and Planned Parenthood is setting up a plan for post-Roe. Redundancies are good.
