But her emails. But she’s a warmonger. But she’s just not inspiring.

Votes matter, people. People will die and sink further into poverty because of this.

He doesn’t take an anti-choice stance in the speech, he just refers to others at the school who went to an anti-choice march as an example of youth engagement in free speech and peaceful demonstration. Which for all we know could be an attempt to reach out to people who think differently than he does and find common

First, I’m not certain that he is anti-choice - he was referring to respecting the rights of students to protest, and referred to other students who attended a rally. He doesn’t take an anti-choice stance in this speech, certainly, he just refers to the students who marched. It’s also unclear to me what his position

The kids are all right.

Mostly I’m just happy that I’m not the only one who thinks it’s fun to spend Saturday night geeking out about heraldry and history.

Thanks to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s work on Craig vs. Boren, women do have constitutional equality under the 14th amendment. Though I’m not a constitutional/legal scholar so I’m not sure how much of that hangs on the willingness of the Court to follow precedent, and how much of that is locked in. The Supreme Court

You probably know this already since you looked it up, but the other supporter is from the (former) royal Greek coat of arms, representing his father. But it’s also VERY Prince Philip, isn’t it.

On Philip’s coat of arms, the lion with the crown represents his mother’s English royal heritage. Also King George VI (Elizabeth’s father) made him a royal duke, and Elizabeth gave him the title of prince well after they were married, via a lot of struggle with Parliament, etc.

This racist dickbag. He’s always been openly racist, but I wonder when he’s going to really be held accountable for it? Ever?

Also, not to be That Person, but the fourth paragraph down is missing part of itself, and there’s some copyediting needed a couple paragraphs after that.

I told my husband that after I gave birth, I expected us both to get up for night feedings, and that he would change the diaper and go back to bed and then I would feed the baby. That’s because this is what my own father did in the 70s, so that was my expectation. And my dad had to leave for work at 6 a.m. every

You can’t really directly compare the two dresses, they were totally different styles, and people will have personal preferences about style that will affect their assessment of the dresses. Meghan’s dress looked comfortable and relaxed while still being really refined. Kate looked like she was cinched into that dress

I’m pretty sure you’re joking about Suits being more important than her work for the UN and lifelong work for other charities, given that her new job is going to be almost entirely promoting charity work around the globe, and also since her Biography page on the same site also talks fairly comprehensively about her

Really, they’re living in fantasy worlds where moms don’t work outside the home, and have a freshly cooked meal waiting for their husbands (because this is a straight male fantasy, mind) when he comes home, and he never has to participate in childcare unless he wants to, in which case he is a goddamned saint. And this

I literally just read this aloud to my husband, who could not contain his laughter in response. A++ WRITNG WOULD READ ALOUD AGAIN

I enjoyed watching this! I knew a lot of this already (how??? I cannot figure it out!) but I liked the detail about myrtle, which was new to me. But Meghan Markle’s first name is misspelled at 2:18 and it’s killing my inner copyeditor.

Because I apparently have nothing better to do this evening, I just did a comprehensive review of your town’s ordinances, and have not found a single one that has this rule. I also searched the town’s website (various searches related to and including “child care” and “babysitting”), and that turned up nothing,
