If there’s anything critics hate more, it’s a well crafted film with great directing, acting and cinematography with a well written screenplay and a well funded and effective marketing campaign. Man do they ever hate that. If you want critical acclaim, you need to make a movie that has absolutely no other compelling

We tried to make something coming from a more dramatic standpoint so we’re hoping that people enjoy it and recognize that we’re trying to do something original.
