I agree from most of his movies, but I think he did fantastic in Wall Street and Lawless. I also don’t follow his personal project and haven’t seen any of the YouTube stuff, so maybe that gives me a padding against his idiocy. I just feel there’s some serious acting talent in there when he’s forced to take a serious

The one who plays Karen is of the “act with your hands and furled eyebrows” school.

I'm looking forward to NOT seeing it. Maybe I'm being a comic purist.... but it just looks incredibly stupid to me. And I still HATE the casting of just about every character except the Invisible Woman.

Wall-E is a film for ages 2-10. It’s terrible. Overly cutesy and I wanted to rip my god damn ears off after hearing that autotuned WUUUUUAAAAAA-LLLIIIIIII or EEEEEEEVEEEEEE sound for the 300th time.

Incredibles is incredible, with a sharp script. You know, the thing Wall-E didn’t have?

With the state of Hollywood today they will gender swap the role with Jennifer Lawrence and call everyone who hates the idea sexist pigs. CAN’T FUCKING WAIT.

I am terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.

You know, there is a way to do a relatable Superman while staying true to the character. You don’t need any “darker vigilamte” crap. All you need is to do this:

Finally you understand, you just need to wake up now. You’ve been in there for the seven months. You think you’re just living you normal life but in game you landed on a planet similiar to ours, with people procedurally generated to look like us. You started living in the game, getting a job and starting a new life

I have mixed feelings about the fan films, but Prelude To Axanar nicely done for what it was, so here’s hoping this works out.

So long as you’re okay with me being pessimistic about it

An age old arguement I’ve had since childhood... It’s an arguement you will never win, just based on the sheer amount of blind and biased Batman Fanboys. Seriously give up now. Even if Superman is a god... The Bat fanboys will idiotically find a way to make Batman win... Well I guess they are backed up by writers as

Whenever someone says they want to make a super hero that isn’t Batman in a gritty realistic view is when I start to worry.

The thing of it is, the Fantastic Four isn’t particularly difficult to crack. It’s a big old-fashioned cosmic super-hero space adventure. We just had one of those last year; we’ve got another coming later this year. Admittedly, it is difficult to crack if you don’t want it to be what it actually is.

Actually, you CAN have superheroes knock around and have there be no consequences. They made an entire movie about that. It was called Man of Steel.

He’s made a career out of not getting the point of the material he’s adapting, why stop now?

My god man!

yes it is. It’s fucking Superman. He doesn’t kill people. It’s the whitest knight of all superheroes. That movie was complete shit

Not really surprised at his statement. He never understood Superman or comics for that matter.

I was surprised because that’s the thesis of Superman for me, that you can’t just have superheroes knock around and have there be no consequences.

Chiklas was the perfect casting, regardless of how people feel about the effects/makeup/prosthetics. He captured the feel of the comic book character flawlessly. I realize we’re now making a darker, more “adult” feeling F4, but as far as nailing the source material’s tone... Chiklas sure did.
