This would have been incredible seven years ago, but all they're doing is hyping the big screen superhero team-up which Marvel has already commoditized. That, combined with the fact that MoS was so underwhelming, makes it hard to get especially excited about this without seeing some actual footage and story.

I guess he must have...checked too often.

I think the idea that because an actor is gay he can only play gay characters, so if he was cast then the character must be changing is a total "Are you fucking kidding me" moment. If that were the case the history of theater, television and film would look a tad different.

Christian Bale's Batman is not a good fighter. Not very bright. Not a good detective. Not a master of disguise. Not that crazy. Not relentless. Easily duped into signing his entire fortune away. Cries over women he's fucked once. And quits. I submit that he's the least effective Batman... Say what you will about Adam

Aw, c'mon, it's not the actress' fault how the writers wrote her character.

We've been trained over the last 7 years to stay until the end at every Marvel movie. I can't just quit now, man, I need my fix!

Absolutely. He's too great a character to stay in the periphery forever. At the beginning of the series I never would have said that, I thought Ward was the least compelling character on the show, but he is now one of the best.

Greedo shooting first completely alters Han’s characterization. It’s not a nostalgia issue, it’s a writing issue, and an objective one. If Han doesn’t shoot first he’s a less intimidating character, and his character arc into someone who actually believes in something is less dramatic.

You missed a lot in Return of the Jedi, didn't you? Like, really the whole movie. Sleeping through films is no way to fairly judge them, since you seem interested in doing that.

Okay, I get that the Ewoks were dumb, but dat space battle! Released in 1984 and it's still more impressive to me than anything the prequels served up. The Clone Wars and Menace forever co-anchor the garbage films on my list and Jedi remains ahead of Revenge of the Sith because I probably spent hundreds of hours as a

Good points. I'm hopeful they can maintain the quality if/when they keep on truckin', and seeing as how closely involved Robert Kirkman is with this franchise (all of The Walking Dead stuff is property of Robert Kirkman LLC, which means a whole helluva lot to the series, both comic and television), I'm sure he'll make

I am the first person to stand up for a woman's right to bed-hop as much as a man, BUT yeah, it doesn't work for the character. But hey the whole damn thing has been a shitshow this year (#wrongkiddied ..looking at your laurel) and the Olicity concept has ALWAYS felt forced to me. The first time he talked to her when

I have never been on the Olicity bandwagon. Felicity and Ray (or Felicity and Barry) make much more sense together.

What do you mean they started demanding them? Schools can do that? I think I would impolitely tell them to fuck off.

"Intellectually stimulating" doesn't necessarily mean that something is considering the great philosophical questions of life. It can just mean that the movie has cleverly constructed plots that actually hold together, that the jokes sometimes have multiple levels to them, etc.

I'm with you. While I wouldn't say I only look at negative reviews, I find them more helpful in the decision making process.

I'm not interest JUST in the negative reviews, but I agree that I want to know why the product, business, etc. got a bad review.

I agree. I will read a few good reviews for an overview of the product, but if you see the same fatal flaw over and over again in the one star reviews, steer clear. On the other hand, if most of the bad reviews are along the lines of "this $20, 512GB SSD is way to expensive!" then you know you shouldn't have a

The best reviews for video games are always the bad ones.

That's the way to do it. Always start at the bottom and work your way up from there.
