Loved this episode except for the Felicity scolding part. The problem isn’t just the emotion she’s displaying, it’s her emotional level. Yes, she didn’t start crying like a psychotic this episode. Hooray. She did, however, decide to go full on (insert choice expletive here) and the actress doesn’t have the range for

C’mon... most of these are incredibly stupid. Game developers are lazy? Or that Players always know what is best for a game? Some of these are phrased so specifically that of course they’re not true. Are some game developers lazy? I’m sure they are, and I’m sure they fail. Players will often have great ideas about a

I agree with you regarding the Rick thing, but again we’re talking situations. Rick really had no reason to run the guy over (other than being pissed that he knocked out a member of his team) and the more hostages you have the better your bargaining position. Since they were not in battle at the moment, Rick could

1) The OT used CG to enhance practical effects, not replace a story. Don’t be purposefully ignorant.

2) Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill provided fine acting performances. Not academy award winning, but to compare them to the empty dead-eyes blandness of the prequels is either you showing ignorance of acting performances

You stated that the only reason people judge the original trilogy as superior was due to nostalgia. You posited something without any verifiable evidence that was clearly biased and in error. Wrong fact, wrong opinion.

Opinions can absolutely be wrong because they have to be based off of facts and taste. Your facts are incorrect, so your opinion is incorrect.

It’s an ill-advised opinion. Blaming the love of a classic movie on “nostalgia” is incorrect because those movies actually hold up under a magnifying glass looking for errors. The problems with the prequels are all completely separate (blue screen, CG, lack of story, bland acting) than anything shown in the originals.

Except that’s completely wrong. We know from Obi-Wan that Luke’s father was a Jedi and a good friend who lost his way to evil. So having a glimmer of good is a rational narrative choice. And the guy only changed sides to save his son, not because he wanted to save a planet of innocents or some such. The prequels

Wow. Never before have I seen such a huge misread of the events of ROTJ and Empire.

For Empire, the one huge thing you just glossed over was that Vader was spouting a recruitment pitch. He stopped being the huge and indomitable monster who killed Luke’s father and became a gut punch of an entirely different type of

Biggest Misconception about Game Developers: That they have any idea what people think regarding game developers.

Nobody that I know has ever insinuated anything on that list. Who are they talking to to get these misconceptions on the general public’s misconceptions???

I feel so stupid, because I was yelling the same “that’s not how light works!” but then I had a moment of panic with “Wait... do I know how light works? Is there something they know that I missed? Because that seems so completely stupid that you would have to have a card up your sleeve for that to be put in a script”.

S

I completely disagree with you in regards to the first scene with Iris in the office building. This was more of the character being completely stupid for absolutely no reason. Barry, later in the episode, says to Joe “Iris can handle anything, you should have seen how she handled this earlier office situation!” except

I’m afraid I still do not concur with your interpretation of events. While I agree that the Wolves were sloppy in their “execution” (if you’ll excuse the pun) they did seem to have a plan beyond just murder. As pointed out to me by another commenter, the Wolves were seen grabbing food. They were also shown gathering

Yay. People get to think that racism is even more widespread thanks to the douchebags at 4chan. Way to go...

So, lets follow that line of thinking. Morgan has the prisoner all chained up and the guy has regained consciousness. You can try to knock him out again, but (unless we’re relying on movie karate chops) it’s going to take a severe amount of beating and you have no reliable way and quick way to keep him from waking up

See, the problem is that they’re claiming that the conservative groups are racist or actively attempting to harm particular groups. That is an all-around lie... some might even describe it as “fear-mongering and anti-conservative rhetoric”. Conservatives aren’t right 100% of the time, but their goals seem to be

I disagree. You can’t have resources spent in keeping an eye on this one prisoner when there are still a ton of Wolves running about. If anything, blame Morgan if he ended up killing the one guy at the very end when it seemed the battle was over. That is the guy you interrogate for information after action.

I disagree. The battle was still raging, and keeping a prisoner like that would mean someone would have to continue to watch him. In the event that the watcher is killed, they guy is free again to cause mayhem. Killing the guy was the only choice at the time.

Just a couple things I want to point out from your review...

First, we are supposed to cheer Carol through this entire ordeal. She’s efficient and taking out people who are hacking people to bits without remorse. This isn’t a group like the Governor who wants to remove competition either by negotiation or force to
