"Hyperion" is a dope novel, because it's basically an anthology of insane and loosely related sci-fi stories. But it ends on a major cliffhanger and the ensuing books don't really stick the landing, IMO.

So is it a boost or a hindrance to this show that scientists recently found the wreckage of the actual HMS Terror?
