Hey Josh, not only do I love sports, but I love other topics when they have a sports-related angle, so I have to say I was excited to read this article.

Fuck, I love y’all. <3
Thank you GMG. We’re with you.
Oh and speaking of cowards, fuck Dave Portnoy too.
I’m just here to tell Jim Spanfeller, Paul Maidment and the rest of the cowards to get fucked.
I understand that you’re more than likely unable to speak to the issues taking place, and I fully understand that you probably don’t want to comment on them for fear of reprisals. Props to you for the GMG Union button.
The PS4 never sold at a loss, nor did the PS1. The PS2 definitely did, and I think the PS3 originally did, but I’m not sure.
Yes, that was a factor in THIS generation, but Sony has been a dominant player since the original PS1. Their missteps with the (initially overpriced) PS3 and the rise of the Xbox 360 fooled people into thinking that they would lose that dominance, but as you have seen, that isn’t the case.
102M is crazy ridiculous, but I’m still more impressed with the PS3 sales figures tbh. Despite the incredibly rocky launch, high price, lack of games and the fact the 360 had a 12 month head-start, they still managed to shift 87M units, outselling the 360 by a couple of million.
It helps a lot when your competition shits the bed out of the gate.
It’s kind of interesting how well Sony generally does in this area. Other console makers are much less consistent honestly. Contrastingly, Sony’s worst console was what, the PS3 at 87 million units apparently? That’s ridiculous, even Nintendo has much more off generations than that.
Well, if they weren’t a playable class in a world war II version of Call of Duty what do you expect?
If it’s aiming for the realism of war, the part where you abandon the rebels to be ethnically cleansed should be interesting.

I’ll cop that perhaps my comment is orthogonal to the article itself, but I’ve just read through all of it again and haven’t found anything to contradict what I’ve written. The things Microsoft has done are good moves, stuff a gamer can appreciate as a valuable bonus to their rich game library. They’re not a…
All due respect to Microsoft, but I don’t buy a game console to play ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’, and in ten years it won’t be ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’ that I’ll remember about this generation.
Really don’t think these are comparable hostile environments.
I am not quite moved by a still of Pelosi simply doing her job
Any job, part-time, full-time, side hustle or not, should payout to minimum wage or above.
Capitalists love to use this idea of a “gig economy” as some kind of freedom for those who are willing to just “work hard.” That idea is a con that pits workers against one another in a never-ending battle to see who is willing to do a job for the least amount of money.
