Wow... Did you trip and accidentally land on an upright, rolled up Edge Magazine, because you sound like maybe you hurt your butt a bit.

Edge Magazine

Thanks for this, we need more ‘random’ indie news on Kotaku! If this clerical accidentally happens to become a weekly thing, I wouldn't mind it one bit!

Crazy good/cool!

So, this is absolutely meta-commenting on a piece about someone I wish I did not learn about, but... I had somehow completely missed you were back to stay at Kotaku, Patricia! Congrats to you and that’s such great news for us loyal readers! Welcome back!

Thanks for this write-up, Nathan, and the other pieces you did on this subathon. I havs too little time (and also inclination to want) to experience this thing myself, but still like to know and understand what’s happening. Your coverage made that possible.

Feels so weird to have this ‘new generation’ coverage of and even updates to machines that I have not even seen yet. The chance of being able to buy a PS5 (in mainland Europe) in the ‘online wild’ is still about 0.001%, unless you make it a fulltime hobby.

This is why I read Kotaku! To remind me I am getting very old, very fast!

If EA actually stays the course here and does what they promised, I’d be surprised and happy for those who paid full price for this game and stuck with it.

This was a valiant effort to calmly reason on the web! Yet I am afraid Michael will not rest until they not only have full control of their own PC and game library, they also need to save our consumer souls by showing us the light of Gaben, his totally pro-consumer business model, and the FEATURES of the eternal Steam

Wow, it always surprises me that the consumer masses are willing to rise up for the Steam Engine and its eternal conductor Hand. Even here on Kotaku apparently!

Hey, just to let you know, your posts are basically unreadable on mobile due to the avalanche of shitty ads in the way.

Thanks for taking the trouble to count this, it must have been a pretty painful experience!

Sorry to comment hijack your I am sure very nice post, but to be honest with all the ads this site’s posts are becoming unreadable on mobile.

It takes an extra very special and uniquely talented leader to make an already very special and talented team shine the brighter. My deepest respect and gratitude to what you’ve done for me and all the other readers of Kotaku.

Thanks for this piece, Nathan! I had missed any of the viral moments of Negaoryx referenced here and after reading this and checking out her content, specifically her new viral clop, she just shot up to the list of my top favorite streamers, nay, people.
This troll-takedown is an epic for the ages. Respect!

Interesting take, but as always with the AC games its non-committal politics are such that they can be taken to argue both points.

All those deaths, but somehow you managed to keep Mordin alive! That is an achievement in itself!

I think you’re spot on and I’m not saying I am happy with this (returned my own PS4 copy). Yet I also think that, if we track this carefully, either the business side of this will still have been more profitable and/or the general sentiment around this game will start to shift as more people will play in on better

Good for you and same for me!
