I don’t know about Ford but Jeep does allow you to custom order your Wrangler with only the options you want. It’s then a 6-8 week wait while your Jeep is built and then delivered to your dealership. The window sticker even has a “This vehicle made specifically for <Your Name>” on it...

Oh I totally agree with you on driving at speed with the windshield down but if I had a JL instead of my JK I’d put the windshield down every time I went rock crawling...
