The contestants seem to be enjoying themselves but I do wonder what is the point of a singing competition when a number of the contestants are long-time professional singers.  Besides last season’s Gladys Knight, it is clear that one this year is a very well-known singer with an all-time great voice.  How are you

That looks really fun. I wish that it was in Florida (I think there will be one there eventually) and that I had a small child that I could take to the park and then dump the child once I got inside and enjoy the place for myself.

They can compete in other categories but International Feature film was the only one that they had any chance in actually getting a nomination in. I do feel like there should be a way to let Nigeria and other English language non-Western nations compete without letting, say, Canada and the UK be eligible for their

Not exactly an urgent need for a third installment in this series, but perhaps they could do some interesting stuff in the Quantum world.  And this may be a good spot to introduce some Young Avengers characters with Scott’s daughter now a teen.

This movie is creating some interesting controversy over a certain controversial plot point discussed in this link: https://newsone.com/3892189/harriet-movie-reviews/. Too bad the interview didn’t bring that part of the plot up - I’d like to see Lemmons’ thoughts on it.

Maybe, but you’d really have to reduce the good looks in two of them for them to play Robin and Maurice. The genes in that family spread out in some peculiar ways.

Actually, there’s some drama there that they could make a movie out of. Barry and Robin had decades-long disputes over creative control (I recall after Robin’s death that Barry spoke of his regret that they let these conflicts hurt their relationship), Maurice had a serious substance abuse problem that he was able to

Pesci’s supposed to be really good in this.  I had assumed he was in permanent retirement so it is great that he gets at least one last quality role.

What about if you’re an adjunct professor at a college (two, in my case) with a school e-mail address?  At the low salary I get paid, I might as well get some added benefits.

Shows like The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan seem to be smaller in scale than any movie would be. I’m sure they will still have some good action (especially The Mandalorian) but SW fans like epic battles and big stakes and I imagine Disney will save those for the movies.

They do realize the need to ease up now. There won’t be a new Star Wars film between the one this year and 2022. There was just confirmation that the Obi-Wan TV series was going to be a movie and they changed course.

Also, while admittedly a shallow observation, Mormons produce a lot of wholesomely attractive people.  It must be all that clean living!

I did like that this version of Dracula doesn’t seem like a romantic hero, even if he does have a certain sexiness.  I’ve been wanting a Dracula closer to the original text where he very much was a sexual predator in a lot of ways and that seems to be what we are getting here.  If there’s another Dracula/Mina love

Not really, though I’ll give it a shot. I’m more interested in the catalog of films and shows - as far as I am concerned, they are better than what most other streaming services are offering.

I’m okay with calling this species firefoxes.  They don’t look like fat regular pandas and they can breathe fire too (well, maybe not, but spread the word that they do).

Assuming this is the plot twist, which seems pretty obvious, I am kind of disgusted that movies keep ignoring a basic rule of popular fiction/franchises: you don’t invalidate a happy ending from the installments that people liked the best.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that this idea isn’t sound. Nutritional science in general is so mixed up in terms of varying results that it is hard to say what would work for everyone.

Singing isn’t just about the voice, even though that’s a huge thing.  I don’t like Bob Dylan much myself but fans like him for the quality of his words, his phrasing, and his general presence.
