It's a James Cameron film, so it's never gonna be out and out "bad". I think one of Cameron's gifts is in pre-production. He really shoots from a very functional script. So, with a film like Aliens or Terminator, he ends with up with a really lean, contextualized energy that's basically satisfying on a narrative level…
