I don’t have a lot of money to buy games with. And since no one releases demos, I have no choice but to pirate them. If I like the game enough to want to keep playing it, I buy it. If not, I just delete it.

There’s a very large possibility that the guy got the $100k through less than legitimate means and is using Funko Pops to launder the money. This is basically the same as buying art and then reselling it.
