I get what you’re saying - and I’ve heard those sort of arguments before - but in my opinion, I think there’s a fundamental misunderstanding about how difficulty ‘works’ for players who want an easier difficulty level. If a game is designed to be difficult, if it relies on frustrating the player to a certain extent

“...insert shocking and meaningful baseball metaphor here.”

It’s like hearing something interesting happened during a baseball game. Totally unexpected.

I suspect this is Sony taking the opportunity to gather some first-hand data about the tradeoffs of day-one launches on a subscription platform. They’ve claimed they aren’t considering doing a true Game Pass rival (as in Sony 1P titles on day one), but I think they’re probably starting to recognize that if Microsoft

Few notes about PSLF:

I never saw it coming

You didn’t actually read the Chen-Rodden paper, or any of their subsequent op-eds.

Yeah, I listened to that FiveThirtyEight podcast about gerrymandering too.

Can you please repost this like every day, or at least once a week, so that everyone A. learns what gerrymandering is and B. learns why it screws most of the country real hard?
