Depending on your model, you probably have an optical audio out option that can get you sound to a TV or sound bar while still using the HDMI for visual. I think the Series X is great, but there are certainly cheaper workarounds.

Actually, there is a somewhat credible rumor that a P3 rumor is in the works.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s being more cagey this time around because he got slapped on the hands by the lawyers after his candidness in November.
Man, I work as a statistician in the field of education and I knew that our attrition was bad, but I thought it was have at least been comparable with a company having its name publicly dragged through the mud. But no, teacher attrition is projected to be ~25% this year, and as high as 50% among some subgroups.
I’m only on issue 180, so no idea what the end looks like, but I feel like this could easily be that the Academia part is ending and something new begins?
I’m pretty sure the solution is that everyone remembers Spider-Man but no one remembers Peter Parker. Strange will remember casting the spell to help Spider-Man, but anything about the kid under the mask is forgotten. Same with anyone thinking back to the events of Endgame, etc.
I think there are two possibilities here. Either A) the SpiderMen we’re also plucked from the moments before their death, or B) all the multiverses are operating on the same timeline and that’s where those guys are at in 2024.
Hades is definitely my favorite game on that list, but it seems like a crime to not give it to Blaseball, which is redefining the concept of both narrative and gaming.
“Master Chief status: DEAD! Me status: Alive?”
Chances that Kotick wrote this himself and sent it out through someone else’s email?
Same. I thought it was a Morbius tie-in game until the title card.
The true snubbing was for Psychonauts 2. Most nominated game of the year and not a single award.
I don’t know about juggling 5 games at a time, but being able to save a game in the hopper is the best feature of the Series X for me. I used to the jumping online to play a match or two of Overwatch with a friend when I was working through a single player game. Cyberpunk, for example, had like a full minute of loads…
I’m pretty sure the matches are starting at 4v4, but you have people dropping as the match loads in or in the first few seconds. I usually see them drop around 1-3 second into a match. Overwatch somewhat solved this problem by ending matches if someone quits in the first 30 seconds. Maybe they should apply that here…
For those who still care about them, Townscaper’s achievements took about 30 mins for the 1k. I played it with Cloud and didn’t have to download it and had a ton of fun with it for a lunch break.
Perhaps the most ridiculous and inane aspect of all of this for me is that, in the middle of being the biggest case study for gender-based discrimination in the US at the moment, when given the chance to publicly hire two people for the *exact same co-lead position* the leadership STILL decided to pay the female less…
I haven’t had my console crash on any matches on the Series X, but then again, the game has failed to load any matches with the “failed to load persistence data” glitch.
*February release date
I had a similar play clock to Umfozzles. 400 hours to 100% TW3 and the DLC (about 270 for the base game, did every. single. question mark) and about 90 hours to 100% Cyberpunk 2077. Definitely a much shorter game.
I played Backbone on PC GamePass and I thought it was an excellent game. Given that it’s only ~5 hours and has lots of branching, I’ll probably play it again on Xbox.
