I buy everything through steam. I have around 500 games there.

I love it. Wish they had a combo pack.
I think it looks good, but there are a few things I dislike. The proportions look wonky, and the characters kinda stick out, but I think I could move past that in the game. I really dislike the font they used and I hope they give an option to change it. I'd like to buy it, but, uh, iPhone...
The problem with the FCC is that it's mostly run by people with vested interests in the success of the cable industry. Tom Wheeler is a former cable industry lobbyist, and many of his predecessors retired into CEO positions at other cable companies, whilst receiving massive kickbacks for their legislation. The net…
Water and electricity are considered basic necessities and therefore heavily regulated by the government. They have price caps that they can't exceed and they have to justify every charge. There are laws against them turning off your services at certain times of the year if you can't pay.
Internet, on the other hand,…
My girlfriend asked me to buy Gone Home for her today and I saw that it was $20. I bought it for her, but then I felt bad about it, like I was being ripped off, because I've seen it on sale so many times. I can see where this guy is coming from.
Yea. 360 and PS3 is where the party will be at until at least 2016.
You know, I never really cared that the game was online only. My big complaint was that the online that was there was broken. People would send you money and it would disappear. Visit another players city and you'd see things that weren't there/not how the city looked. And the ever persistent fact that the game was…
Well, aside from having to take out daily internet checks, it also changes the whole design philosophy for the system. You're going from telling designers "Ok, put whatever online you want it, everyone will have it on our system" to "Not everyone has online. Work around that." You can see it in games like Dead Rising…
If there was an over/under in Vegas on this, I'd be winning some money right about now:
I'd be completely fine with a rerelease of 1.5 and 2.5 in a collection if it came for the PS4, since I gave my PS3 to my little sister.
I'd play Haah Waaw.
Accounting for inflation, the PS3 cost $701 2013 dollar. So the Xbox One is actually considerably cheaper that the last gen buy in price. If people bought PS3s, they should have no problem buying Xbox Ones, price wise anyway.
When I saw it at E3, it melted their super computer and they had to bring a new unit in to continue the show. It seems really unoptimized, so I wouldn't be surprised if the consoles struggled with it.
Probably won't happen as Microsoft bought Skype back in 2011 and still haven't made a profit off it. They could lease it to Sony for huge amounts of money, but A) this generations has been decidedly about companies taking their toys home and not letting other play with them and B) Sony will probably develop their own…
I'm always amazed by how corny Hollywood level props looks before proper lighting and color correction.
At E3 this year there was a lot of talk about this. A bunch of reporters were saying they'd heard rumors that it was going to take place in Boston and that there would be an announcement for it this year.
Since, as I'm typing this, a single bitcoin can be exchanged for $844 USD, 21 Mil bit coins would be worth about 17 billion dollars. Also, given that you can break a bitcoin up into tiny chunks, like .01 BTC, you can easily spend smaller amounts.
