95,022 words. A good bit longer than the first Harry Potter book, which marks in at 77,508 words.

Well considering they just recast Solid Snake....

They aren't in Booker's dreams. They were in his life, and his dreams reflect that.

A man, a lighthouse, a prisoner, a protector.

Sounds like it's time for a logo redesign contest.

I don't think Battlefield would want to launch the same day as Assassin's Creed 4. Not that it doesn't happen, but I'd expect them to move up at least a week, maybe two, to October 22nd or 15th. As for CoD, I'm willing to be that launches Nov 12th, as every CoD has tried to launch as close to Veteran's Day as

I find it a touch ironic that this is the number one conversation for an article about an MMO.

People freaked when they saw that he had 4 flags... but now he has 5!

I think it's kind of bogus that they don't count digital sales. That's pretty much the entirety of their PC sales. Considering the game topped Steam for a while, that's probably a good chunk of games not being counted.

Dunno. They made it sound like you might make a player avatar for the modern day component who works at Abstergo. Could mean that there isn't nearly as much of a focus on the 21st century stuff.

So I guess we'll be seeing a lot less slights against Patricia Hernandez now, eh?

Wonder what they consider "average" for a novel. Harry Potter 1 is about 79k words, and some people consider that short. Memory of Light by Brandon Sanderson was something like 360k words. There can be a big gap in terms of "average".

Speaking as a guy who has to sell these at his job, I do get a fair amount of people who ask what it is and then respond "Another Wii? Is this one portable?"

Maybe there are diminishing returns. Each 10% on heals 10% of remaining damage, not total health. So you'd have a Zeno's paradox situation, never being able to full heal.

I actually didn't have too much of a problem with the extended cut of the ending. My two biggest qualms with the original were that it had major plot/character holes (Joker says he'll never abandon me, next shot is him flying from Earth: Control Ending isn't supposed to damage any machines, still blows up Normandy:

I dunno if that's a glitch. At least on PC, you can do that manually by just zooming around the fire place.
