I got addicted to Sleeping Dogs and played it for about 30 hours over four days. I play Dishonored for an afternoon and just soft of left it. I didn't dislike it, but, at least for me, it wasn't the ground breaking game everyone seems to be making it out to be.

Having worked at GameStop for many years in a great deal of states, and going from asking people all the time to never asking and back again, I can tell you that plenty of people want to preorder but don't think about it unless you ask. I've come to a pretty simple "Want to preorder anything?" instead of badgering,

I like playing through the whole game choosing the "..." option for every decision. The reactions to it are hilarious.

Well, sorry, didn't think about that, but it's not the end of the game. It's not even really the halfway point. Maybe a third in. But yeah, sorry.

I spent a lot of time in the cave talking to my friends, and they each have a conversation you can have with them after most story missions where Jason tries to explain how much he loves killing, and how good he has become at it (along with some pills you can take to have flashback scenes), and listening to those I

Far Cry 3 also featured one of the most bone chilling piano tracks I've ever heard.

It's going to be a full release. Supposed to come out in the fall.

This argument makes me wonder if there is any merit to the idea of a Director's Cut of videogames. If they took it back and fixed everything (I mean, redid the engine, changed the tree running, rewrote stuff and re VO'd things, changed plot points that didn't work, cut out crap and added stuff in) if people would

I will buy a Vita if any of the Tales series come to America for it.

Yea, I get that, but I mean physically, he should have been way more powerful since he had so much more tatau.

I figured it was racist because a single white guy had control of every person of colored skin on the island, and though they try, none of them could overthrow the white guy until a gang of all white kids shows up and one of them overthrows him in a manner of days. Also, if the tatau makes you more powerful, how is

I like this letter. Yes, it's spin, but it's also a really open explanation as to what's happening. There was an article on here a few months back wondering why more big devs didn't take time to explain about the state of their games/companies, well... here.

You're never going to find a researcher who says that videogames cause violence. They'll only be looking to prove a correlation.

For some reason I was expecting to see Crecente here. I did not.

Not having looking through all of the comments, I don't know if this has been said yet, but the General Aggression Model shows that consuming violent entertainment makes you more aggressive while consuming, but shows no alteration of behavior outside of the consumption of said media. It has been found that people who

That was due to the fact that Call of Duty wasn't written on the cover, and people thought it was a different franchise.

While I like your idea for the alternate ending, as far as the main story goes, I personally liked the shifting tone. Each character brings with them their own insanity, and when you're talking to that character, you are talking to their insanity. You get crazy rapist power trip insanity form Buck, 1960's paranoia

The makers of the film Ink openly said their movie never would have made it past their desks if it hadn't been for file sharing. Sometimes it can help.

The next movie has already been commissioned and takes place between Miracle Mask and the final game: http://layton.wikia.com/wiki/Professor_Layton:_The_Second_Movie
