I honestly don't know whether I want to make out with this episode or punch it in the face. So much implausiblility. Such incredible acting.

One of my favorite films. I read that Scorsese suggested that Dunne swear off sex while making the film in order to heighten his anxiety level. If that's true, it certainly shows.

I saw the original and the trailer looks loyal. Granted, we don't know for sure until we see it, which I'm willing to do, if only to watch the horrified reactions of the audience at the end.

I enjoyed the scene where Linden decides to get some rest, while Holder stays, his obsession with the case churning. It's a nice juxtaposition and shows how the two characters have genuinely changed during the past 3 seasons.

Tonight's episode = A
Holder in tonight's episode A++++++++++++

Firstly, you have twice the agency now-almost double the staff — and they're aiming for much bigger revenue targets. This makes all of them more expendable (Save Burt and Roger). Second, almost all of the people at the meeting have independently observed Don's reckless and non-professional behavior in the past year

Regardless of what one thinks of the season (and I'm certainly in the minority of the AVClub love fest that IS the Mad Men comments section)…I will say that Jon Hamm's performance this season may have been better than any other season, just heartbreaking at times. It would be nice to see Cranston and him tie come Emmy

Maybe the last 10 minutes were. Wading thru another 40 of exposition to get to it, per usual.

If it's any consolation, the "Mad Men" finale wasn't so remarkable.

Great cameo by Holder's hoodie.

"Mad Men" could use a Japanese. For the background.

What hints? You mean that he wasn't making out with Joan at her apartment or he wasn't interested in getting a whore in a brothel? I would concede that perhaps the latter could be a "hint", but neither one really hints of anything…in fact, the former could "hint" that they were dating, actually. But I'm all eyes if

"Hey, he was real friendly to Burt Peterson on the steps when Burt was on
his way out; guess he wanted to hook up with him, too, right?"

Um…let's see: Joan, Ken, Harry, Peggy, Ted, Jim, Roger, Stan, Ginsberg, and the various secretaries. Why would Pete be any more available or "amenable" to Bob's advances then any of them? What distinct or pronounced rapport did Pete have with Bob? Bob sent Roger food when his mother died, did that foreshadow Bob

I will never give up on my dream of Megan dying. Any way is fine.

Better than being gay all of a sudden and hitting on, of all people available to me, PETE CAMPBELL.

Welp, that must mean he's in love. And since Ted just got Don's friend's son out of the war….one can only imagine what that must mean about Ted's feelings for him.

Yes. I'm serious. Bob fawns over EVERYONE. He's never targeted Pete specifically this season. He helped him out with a nurse. Tonight Ted helped Don out with getting a kid out of the draft, doesn't mean Ted has the hots for him.

Nope…neither one made ANY sense. The Bob subplot was asinine and nonsensical. At what point did we ever see Benson fawning over Pete this season. Ever?

So, Benson isn't a government spy and Megan is still alive and frankly I would have preferred either over this boring episode. I think the reason people are desperately trying to find twists in this season is because it would be nice for the season to have some meaning, some ROI on 10+ investment, something to push us
