I’ve financed through the dealer only to refi with credit union the very next month multiple times. Never been an issue- once the deal is done, the dealer could care less and on the other side, credit union is happy to do the deal and have your money.

You are correct... pedals are almost always left in place. Driver probably did some combo of using the hand controls while trying to use the pedals as he normally would... ending in a disastrous result for him.

you can see the crane... the wheelchair most likely belongs to the driver. 

That A3 was a POS! I liked the design, but it was “luxury” in label only. I remember testing one that had a manual reclining seat and even more annoying was it was one that you twisted to recline, not the lever.
