not to take anything away from this pilot, buuttttt this seems like the easiest type of landing gear failure save. Assuming you have the plane pointed straight, which you would do in a landing anyway, it doesn’t seem like it would be very bad besides it being a little rougher than a normal landing.

I would think that trash can was overflowing at one point and then emptied between when all that trash piled around it and when the photo was taken. I’ve learned to be overly cynical about anything I see online that is polarizing in one direction or another, and most of the time it’s warranted.
