the v-wagons are down to the mid and low 40s right now (not sure what your budget is). here’s my unicorn ‘03 540 m-sport. bought and shipped it from CA to GA for 10k (after searching for TWO YEARS)... I probably have about 5k into it (both mods and maintenance) over 3 years of ownership and that’s still not factoring…

I see your point... and mine is that the m2 is the better car in the first place and now you are getting it with just as much power as the m3/4. of course “better” is relative to what you’re going to do with it. so yeah, if you just want to quickly haul the kids around for 80k then maybe the m3 is the right move. but…

not sure why you are comparing a coupe (m2) and sedan (m3).... unless you meant m4. in which case, why would you buy an m4 over an m2 anyway? backseat space a priority?
