“implementation’s going to be great”
“implementation’s going to be great”
I wouldn’t trust Matthew Yglesias to explain economics
You could be right. Hopefully it was a joke though.
Albert Burneko banned a friend of mine because after he politely disagreed with something another writer posted and made a harmless joke, so Burneko called him a “little stupid bitch”... my friend told him to go fuck himself. Of course, Burneko banned him and Marchman backed up Burneko. Lots of thin skinned,…
As much as I dislike U2, this is mostly on point.
Almost as many likes on his comment as there are for the article.
IMHO U2 has long since passed its expiration date (I still like their older stuff though) but I agree that Jalopnic is probably the wrong medium for this rant.
Correction
I still like them now, even after the iTunes fiasco (people needed to get a grip over it tbh, their damn first world problems imho) The 90s were they’re best era though. Achtung Baby, Zooropa, Passengers and Pop!
U2 is not the band they were, and the latest album wasn’t very good. But I still like em. Fuck this guy.
The guy does have 42 stars on that comment. Food for thought.
Why is this on Jalopnik now?
Wow. Your edgy hipsterism is showing by how aggressively hateful you’re being toward a fairly benign, well-meaning band.
How can you hate, of all things, U2? I’m not neutral, as I love the band, but I find bazillion other bands that are truly unbearable. This being said from someone who enjoyed Pantera as much as Duke Ellington and fusion jazz.
It’s okay, Michael, we know you have zero musical talent.
Noble M600
It’s a really, really good Triumph Spitfire.
It’s old school but still managed to revive an entire niche of track day specials around it
The Dodge Viper. Just modern enough to meet standards but by far the truest iteration to its original concept.
