The quick time interruptions in Crysis 2 really wore out their welcome with me. It was like they didn't know any other way to transition between levels other than having you activate a defibrillator on yourself and crawl for a while.

Two player co-op would be tremendous fun, but unlikely. Either have the "player 2" take control of one of Sheppard's squad or create a co-op buddy character. Leave out the third squad member to balance things a bit and go nuts.
