@ryoshi: On the contrary, I'm surprised it isn't in the works already, considering the long tradition of games built on DnD systems.

"20) We will know of a second video game that stars a black woman, surely the first occurrence won't be alone?"

Now playing

I definitely consider watching the splash videos part of the "new game" ritual, but I consider it a major down check if they can't be skipped. Nobody's logo video is so cool that I want to watch it more than once in a great while, much less every time I fire up the game. Forcing me to watch your logos to reinforce

The PC. In addition to having the best technical capabilities, a PC can recreate the experience (sans some exclusive software) of any other home game console.

Perhaps a better solution would be to have a master screen name for each account, so players could only post under the one name which would be linked to their in game characters. This way players wouldn't be required to expose their real names to the entire internet just to chat about the game they're playing while

Does anyone else feel dirty reading about these guys' salaries? It feels like I walked in on them in the bathroom.

@whotheheck: And you can install apps that are themselves app stores!

@P4KO: That's a big roger on the Metal Gear games.

Proprietary connections are the root of all kinds of evil.

@rdgalactus: She seems in really good shape to have two kids, and very nonplussed at being caught on camera.

@kr99x: Absolutely games need restrictions, agreed. My problem is with restrictions that feel arbitrary and counterintuitive. My problem isn't that I can't move in look mode, but that their seems to be no good reason for it. It kills suspension of disbelief. Like 'invisible walls', double jumps, impassable 1 foot

I'm perplexed at the idea of going to a FPS mode where you can't move.

I've said it before: they should include an option to flip Link and the controls to be left handed.
