I still think they need a ‘compacted trash cannon’ to compress the trash into a brick and fire trash to burn up in the atmosphere, while using that kinetic energy to help boost the orbit.

Whatever you do, don’t install Ublock Orgin and Sponsorskip plugins. Then you won’t see commercials or sponsored content portions of videos. How would youtube make money selling subscriptions if you didn’t see the ads?

Nothing says GOOD MORNING like a portal turret diarrhea in your cup.

The CEO of reddit gets up every day and dreams up new ways of pissing off the user base. Kill the API so the mods are crippled and users can’t use a app they like? Check. Delete your hard earned (and paid for!) reddit coins in September? Check. Insulting mods? Check.

Maybe it’s time to hack and slash car required ‘features’. Do we need government mandated backup cameras and car seat occupant sensors? No. All the garbage mandated in cars todays drives up the price. Yes we need some safety. No, we do not need all the crap that is required to sell a car in North America.

Price accordingly. Ford dealers price gouged all through the pandemic and now customers are driving by with their middle fingers in the air. It’s time to go back to below MSRP deals. If you can’t sell cars at inflated prices, try reasonable prices. ESPECIALLY TRUCKS. Remember those $39K electric trucks you took

Car surpluses and worker shortages aren’t what the name says. It’s a money problem. Charge too much for a car and get no buyers. Pay an employee too little and you get no employees. Was this that hard to figure out?

What are they doing? The Silverado has 400 miles of range and more bodywork. Also they will never give the jarheads the 1000hp option. That is asking for trouble. Stick in the single rear motor from the silverado and bring up the range.

Well hello there mister 5 legged elephant. I’m happy to see you too.

Maybe they should show some actual real world tests with those trucks fully loaded. Post full drive videos and mileage before and after.  They have a lot of bullshit to make up for.

GA Checkpoint Yamaha in Port Coquitlam BC refused to sell me a Tenere 700 without $3500 in shitty accessories I didn’ t want even though I was willing to do a several month pre-order. They ‘cried’ that they couldn’t make a profit on just the bike’.

A 25mph flying car is fine if you can take off from a designated area several blocks away and land close to your destination. It’s the commuter machine from hell. Who cares if it can only do 25mph on the ground? It will never get a full speed crash certification anyways.

“Market forces”

Just a reminder that Elon’s kid went trans and won’t talk to him. So this is how he is proving that he is still a man-child.

Many of those parts are rapidly becoming DRM locked. Anything with electronics can be software locked to only work when the dealer scan tool allows it. This is dangerous to consumer pocket books.

Here’s how to fix this. Give mechanics WIRED access to the system. Like how a scan tool works right now. Plug in a scan tool. Display and reset trouble codes. Test devices for troubleshooting purposes. Yes, we can cycle ABS control valves and do all sorts of things. These things are critical in bleeding your brakes

Or just do a brake fluid bleed without flushing the ABS, then go out on some slippery roads and use the hell out of the ABS system. Bleed again and you are fine. Don’t get too worked up about what gets trapped in there.

As a licensed mechanic and former off road enduro racer my F800GS was just disappointing. I’m an aggressive rider and the bike would flex and move when ridden hard off road. I was constantly repairing the suspension as it degraded constantly.

When Canada gets rid of ship, you know it’s crap. They run those things into the ground (?). It’s like buying a used crown vic that was a cop car and then it was a taxi.

Contractor here. Sometimes I drive several hundred KM in a day. There is a big leap from your local building contractor to guys who service specialized machinery far and wide. Also, no one buys a vehicle based on the ‘average day’. You buy it based on the highest mileage day, and factor in a 80% capacity clapped out
