And the fact that it runs on 87 octane and gets really good mileage. The CP2 is hard to argue with.

THIS. A 270 degree crank is the king of off road adventure bikes. Mad traction in the slippery stuff. And this is destined for a middleweight ADV bike.

Honda is going to make a bike to compete with a Tenere 700 and the R7. Just look at that thing. It’s a carbon copy of the CP2 motor.

FWD is idiotic on a electric car. Front engine front drive had grip. Front drive but fat battery in the middle means the front wheels lift when you accelerate and you get less traction. I have a friend who had a Kona EV FWD and it could not climb the hill to his house in the snow even with good snow tires. The weight

That picture is a sprinter. I wonder how many trades guys woke up to this great big fuck you.

they’ll use this as an excuse to DRM and encrypt the whole car. make it dealer repair only.

Factor in lifespan. Those cars from a hundred years ago were not going to make it 200-300000 miles with minimal maintenance. Back then you had to disassemble the engine every 5000 miles for ‘decoking’.

As a furry, this article sucks.

Here’s the BYD blade battery. It’s LFP not NMC lithium and Tesla among others will be using this in their standard range cars. Drive a nail through it and it doesn’t give a shit.

The old rule of thumb is 200lbs = 1mpg. At least store the fuel at home.

Just because you hear the word ‘lithium battery’, don’t think it has much to do with a drill battery. That’s like saying a 50cc moped engine has the same life as a toyota v8. A car battery is using a different chemistry and they are thermally managed as to not be exposed to extreme heat or cold. Car batteries usually

that new chevy truck has 650km of range. After that kind of drive, a half hour stop for a steak and a beverage sounds fine. But if you can’t charge from home, getting a full charge from a grocery store once per week will be the norm so rapid charging will be key.

I like GM but that engine has a rear mounted toothed timing belt driving the oil pump an you must REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION every 160k to replace it.  NEVER BUY THIS ENGINE.

Never buy a first year vehicle. Maybe the first 2 years with EV’s. Even Honda and Toyota have a mile long update list for year two.

Meanwhile, with my new Yamaha Tenere 700, if I do DIY (!) oil changes using yamaha oil and filters they will give me a free 160,000km 20 year warranty on the engine. Save your reciepts.

This is one of the best tracks on Beatsaber.

User created content and mods was the backbone of VRChat. The backlash was so bad they had to disable user ratings on steam as they struggle to contain the shit-storm. And it was the stupidest thing they have ever done. The whole point of VRChat was getting out and creating a bunch of weird stuff for your friends to

Guess what? GM is cancelling the warranty on a lot of high end vehicles if you flip them within 12 months.

SpaceX crashed a lot of rockets before making rockets that don’t crash. Now they land on their ass with style.

Dammit! That was the tell for ghost cars. Regular exploders had rearward facing exhaust tips. The police package exploders had downward facing exhaust as the cops wanted quieter engines and less chances of exhaust leaking in when they were idling the engine with the hatch open.
