Yeah, we probably just got a lemon when it comes to electrical components.

Completely agree. My parents try to keep everything oem. So they were still paying quite a bit for new tires.
It was really only on a trickle charge during winter. And the car would only die when it was out not in the garage
Agreed, but old people don't really modify cars. I would definitely get rid of the pop up headlights. The cars feels quite different at speed with the up compared to down. And I would have a c5 z06 if insurance wasn't so crazy for my age group and what not.
I agree, but they literally drove it between 50-150 days Every year they owned it. Just GM products from that era I’m not fond of. Our family had a Yukon XL (2000-2006 model year) but it was my fathers DD for quite some time and it had more problems that weren’t regular servicing compared to normal and once it hit…
More dumbluck for him then anything. I’ve read some horror stories about e46's. Well I hope she and/or you enjoy it minus the maintenance.
My dad had a e46 m3 for 80k and never had any problems. I had a b5 s4 in college and literally wanted to have it stolen and burned because of all the maintenance spent way too much money on that thing. Generally they buy American SUV/trucks, jdm sedans, and European or American sports cars. I’m poor so I drive a wrx.…
Oh I definitely agree the ls and trans are stout. It just had electrical problems and motors for the pop up headlights failing multiple times. They had it since 2007 and sold it in early 2016. It was on a trickle charger and mainly run and driven on weekends. Replaced the battery multiple times for no apparent reason…
What would be awesome to know is besides oil changes, tires, and gas; how much it has cost to keep this corvette on the road. My parents recently got rid of their 2001 c5 and it only had 80k on it and they spent quite a bit on it in maintenance.
D) soccer mom
So if this person won their case and people could walk through drive thrus. All fast food joints open 24 hours would have drunk assess puking while claiming they were blind and needing food. I mean that would totally suck for sober people haha
It would be cool to have this in your car. Being in my mid 20's I realize if I was younger I would be a dumb person and use it mid corner to get more power to get the rearend to kick it out. Possibly even worse situations also lol.
Should be greyed for this comment
