It’s still the only Fincher movie I haven’t really watched. I caught bits because it was playing in my grandmothers hospital room the night she passed. So I always kind of reconnect the two in my mind and haven’t brought myself to actually watch it because of that.

The showrunner doesn’t know if they’re getting renewed for the planned 3rd, final season, so wanted to end the second on a note that could be seen as a conclusion.

Yeah that pivot away from the male characters at the end of season one and even harder in season two made the show sooo much better.

Wait, Larry Charles as in famed Seinfeld writer Larry Charles? Huh. I didn’t know he directed Borat. I hated that movie.

Prequel? I mean there are a few flashbacks but it’s at the same time the last season of The Boys was at, it even references it.

Weird not to mention Ducovny is in the Pet Cemetery prequel. Probably the only reason I would have the slightest interest.

That nurse scene should be taught in film school. It’s bloody brilliant.
