Yeah, part of what has insulated Tesla from criticism is that their buyers are typically well-heeled, so that they are more tolerant of the faults as they purchased the car as a 2nd car or as a toy rather than a necessity.

I can offer one possible explanation:

It’s just simply not worth it. We see how it ended in this instance, and we’ve now seen multiple instances of people pulling guns. It’s just not worth it. It’s to the point where if I see two people aggressively driving and clearly antagonizing one another, I get as far away as I can for fear of gunfire erupting.

Usually we’d take something like this with a grain of salt, but these folks can build a skyscraper in like 20 days. So, I trust that they can do this too.

As far as it goes, Musk actually does have a point about the Mustang EV. Biden celebrating Ford for making electric vehicles in Mexico is pretty absurd. Has Biden also thanked Apple for all those iPhone manufacturing jobs?

As someone who worked at a FL DMV, this is bad and I didn’t work as a clerk, but in IT. There is a reason dealers are required to do this as parts as transactions and within time periods. Bigger dealers do title transfers and such if they have the personal and proper equipment. Small dealers bring the deals to the DMV …
