One more thing:  At 4:46, those are some steady shots of the plane drifting from overhead.  It couldn’t have been made by Trevor as he was filming his descent, and his handheld was too unsteady to take relatively steady shots of the drifting plane.  Even more suspicion that this was staged bullshit.

I would agree with this, but careful on what is passive. I think people forget that no-one made a car chase like the one in “Bullitt” until “Bullitt” did it. Any car chase after “Bullitt” owes it a big thanks.  I agree it won’t hit today’s standards, but take a true car chase (not blue screen crap) from before 1968, and nothing compares.
