I love Alejandro Jodorowsky for his visions, even if they don’t make sense. It is pure art. The Incal is a classic Euro graphic novel, up there with Tintin and Diabolik.

Actually, I have nothing against capsule hotels. If anything, they make sense from a business (and space) standpoint as you really only need it for a place to sleep. Also, Japanese are polite people as you said - not necessarily so with 18-21 year olds in the US.
