At some point, our local news station got itself a British reporter and it is endlessly funny to me to hear that clipped accent saying “...a man with a luxury taste in motor cars...” which is of course what expensive cars are usually called here in Detroit. It’s like we have our own Top Gear presenter!

If I missed this on Jalopnik, sorry, but this is why I won’t spend $10K on glorified street level “Autopilot”. If anyone heard what Tesla told California DMV, it does not make a case for spending $10k on Autopilot.

I’m still trying to figure out what gives Jack Snyder the glorification to get “Zack Snyder’s” on to a movie title. Apart from “300" (and maybe “Dawn of the Dead”), I haven’t seen anything out of him that makes him deserve a title like that.

My issue with FSD is that it is relying on average people to be beta testers with a knife’s edge promise of autonomous driving (“It is self driving - kind of- but be cautious”). I can tell you that a lot of my friends who have Teslas are riding around with a “Tesla buddy” on.
