Yep, I hit that place once (IIRC, it was obviously a re-purposed Hardees – and I believe it's now something else entirely, or empty?) and yeah, it was "ok"… I would called that one a "new-school" Maid-Rite. The S'field location is an old wooden shack of a joint ,so bonus points for retro-ambiance…

I've been digging Reznor and Atticus Ross' soundtracks to Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Before the Flood… both feature (mostly) laid-back, kinda spooky atmospherics, not too far removed from my dark ambient predilections…
