But seriously: A large amount of movies that we take for granted as “masterpieces” tend to have initially low reviews, mostly because they are either way ahead of its time, or don’t hold up…

I’d say that situation is when it’s directed at an evil, racist, bigotted, self-serving rapist and thief, who has negatively effected (talk about an understatement!) a great number of people around the world.

Wisconsin supreme court justices are elected to 10 year terms and while people have short memories, literally taking away someone’s vote in a presidential election might stick in the mind for a while.  An opponent would be sure to remind the public.

Yeah as much as a lot of these conservative judges would love to disenfranchise mostly black voters, they know their power basically goes away if they overturn an obviously valid election result.

OMG this! Anyone calling a grown woman who is not a close friend or relative “kiddo” just better GTFO. Makes him seem extra extra sleazy, which he was accomplishing just fine before throwing “kiddo” into the mix.

The kiddo part is what really got me. the rest is just garden variety misogyny but calling someone in their late 60s kiddo is just the worst. 

There is a very short list of people who can call me “kiddo” and get away with it. And all of them are old enough to be my father.

Well, no one is saying to take away an Oscars or Emmys nominations from Directors that are known to be assholes or from productions that go over schedule or over budget.

It would be important to note that “Congress” is not malfunctioning, but rather the GOP Senate majority is holding the American people hostage and forcing Democrats to include shit like this to get anything through to the President’s desk.
