I am unsurprised by this and yet.... I still would.

I choose to believe he just has a very assholey sense of humor but is a handsome man. A handsome nice man!
My grandmother was an “old” mom when she had my mom in the 50's. She had just moved to small town Idaho, after living in San Fran and Chicago, and gave birth to my uncles in large hospitals in those cities respectively. Edited to add, she expected the normal twilight birth she’d had in the city.
Not to mention the part where Joe Kennedy had her lobotomized.
Counterpoint:
NO OTHER comment section is as awesome as Jezebel’s. I’m still gray, and I love it here. The comments are often as entertaining and enlightening as the articles. io9's comment section is pretty decent, but sometimes I accidentally comment on a regular Gizmodo article and end up with a bunch of replies from people…
Are we really pretending there are no differences in sentencing white and black people? This has been studied and concluded extensively. No one considers the hardships on an unknown black boy or man. A white man convicted of rape is more likely to get a more lenient sentence than a black man convicted of rape. Facts.
And like Fametracker before it, and Television without Pity, and maybe The AV Club after it, we watch the fires of Jezebel flicker for perhaps the last time.
I’m panicking now. I am. Where do we go from here? Who will take us? Where will the promise landblog be?
Good luck and congrats on the baby.
One of the terms of my stepbrother’s probation was that he could not operate a computer. That made employment rather difficult.
As the very curly-haired white kid of two slightly wavy-haired parents, part of why I had lots of short haircuts was to deal with the fact that my parents didn’t know how to take care of my hair... so I didn’t know, either. Other adults actually told my parents to just take me to get my hair chemically relaxed because…
Another curly-haired white woman here (Jewish, with that typical kind of kinky curls). I didn’t figure out until I was in my mid-teens that you should NEVER EVER dry-brush curly hair, and I was in my 30s before I gathered up the courage to go into the black hair care aisle (and thank God I did).
I ALWAYS pulled my bangs down to the tip of my nose and then let go. “THIS is how long you need to leave them. THIS!”
I am white girl curly too. I know exactly what you mean. Either got a mullet or a poodle cut.. I have fired stylists during a hair cut, yes during. After a 20 min consult that my hair shrinks “This much” so you need to cut it longer than it looks she cut my bangs off on one side. I had not even an inch on one side…
Yes!
Why would I take makeup tips from someone who thinks that smearing red lipstick all over your face or only lining the bottom of your eye is a good idea?*
AHAHAHAHA, thanks. (And you wanna, go right ahead.) I'm goonily grinning like that because I was all "Derp derp, hiiiiiii" when I walked up to him and got idiotically shy. He smiled all big, held his arms out, and went "COME TO MEEEE!".
I met him at a con in July that I was working at and got to take a photo with him.
