The good thing is that there are apps for Android, iOS, BB and Nokia Ovi! So chances are pretty good that people will have (or can) installed it.

Every time I see someone who's gotten a new smartphone running android, I see a task killer installed - and used heavily. While task killers might be a good thing on certain cases (some unresponsive app), they ought to be used sparingly!

Probably root the phone. Different ROMs give you access to different things, and with a rooted phone you can install some applications that you would not normally find in Marketplace, and which require root access - and demand lots of CPU power (hint hint: wifikill)

3471 miles to be precise. But technically they are right since the there would be a train line which would connect NY and London. See the pic up there - goes from London to NYC.
