I am a little surprised that GM is the only company that has a car with a powertrain like the Volt. That is just the sort of hybrid that makes sense to me instead of what is in every other hybrid out there.

I think they crossed the line in Fast Five, and since then have just decided there is no turning back now and are running with it.

Cars like this is why I like the engineering rules for WEC/Le Mans P1 cars far more than F1. The teams are free to come up with these crazy packaging and powering solutions. IMO this is where the motorsport engineering is best.

Enjoy your Nacho Cheese Doritos and Guacamole at your superbowl parties, assholes.

Remember these? When was the last time you saw one?

I wish. I am not in the market for any fun cars right now unfortunately. That is a nice looking FC.

It was probably at least a very short meeting with the lawyers to determine of the cost of the recall was more or less than the cost of the court battles in case they were sued over the defect.

Hello RX-7 for sale in Japan, yes I would like to "learn more". The shipping costs are what I am interested in. A Japanese friend of mine would ship cars over to drive under the "foreign national-owned cars" rules like 10 years ago, and the shipping costs weren't bad (thousands, but not 10s of thousands). No idea who

Yeah, it looks like I under-estimated the effect of the US 25-year rule on the used GTR market. Maybe its time to find a pen-pal in Japan to pick up a cheap R33 and take care of it for a few years.

I kind of don't like that mountain of paper, especially since I can check these easily online. The thing that gets me though is that they come with pre-drilled holes for placing in a binder. Are these things we are supposed to hold onto and keep "for our records"? I've just started glancing at them to make sure there

I had a conversation with a person last week who had purchased what she intimated was a decent amount of Tesla stock, including some at a price north of $200 per share. In our conversation, she was shocked to learn about the EV tax credits Tesla was getting in the State of California and didn't realize she could

That one is pretty good, but I prefer this. Leading the race comfortably with one lap to go. Stupid rules from this year prevented him from changing a flat-spotted tire from earlier in the race, so the vibration ended up destroying the car.

Been considering LASIK recently, but one of the reasons I never considered it was because my vision is/has still been getting gradually worse. How bad was your vision when you had it done, and was it still changing?

Growing up, my sister and I always said we didn't want kids, but would gladly be an aunt/uncle. So far I'm winning.

Coming up next on Suze Orman....

That actually sounds kind of cheap. 245k over 18 years? Figure a household that makes like $90k a year, which sounds pretty reasonable with both parents working. Over 18 years that is $1.62 million, so $245k is about 15% of that.

While not a factory team, it looks like they have some kind of deal with Chevrolet that brings in money. Chevrolet is listed on the team's partners page right below Konica Minolta, and the car still sports Corvette branding. I can only speculate how much this is, but probably more than Nissan and Honda are handing out

Sorry, I feel the same way :(
