Earl was quite possibly the Chris Bangle of his era, and like Bangle, he was probably the most influential designer of his time. Earl brought GM to the forefront of the automotive world, and his ideas still have influence today.

He also said that the company might not be profitable until 2020, the year that Musk says Tesla will be selling 500,000 cars a year. Basically, Musk's goal is to have Tesla be as big as Fiat-Chrysler by 2025, since they sold two million cars last year.

That is one of the best explanations of the loophole that I've seen.

In summary, Honda is exploiting every legal advantage it has in order to deliver the best engine and win. That is formula 1. Nothing is stopping Toyota, BMW, or Cosworth (snicker) from doing the same, except they didn't.

No doubt...fortunately I still had about 1s up on everybody in the final race. After a few practice rounds, everybody else was starting to get the hang of it though...particularly my other co-worker who was there and figured out the best way to make himself faster and me slower was to stay on my tail and use me as a

Not just the pros. I may have been known to show up to corporate vendor sponsored go-karting activities with my own helmet and gloves.

I've done Halibut and Cod....might steer clear of the Salmon.

Ouch...maybe you have a superhuman sense of smell. I don't *think* my pan is all fishy now.

crazy.

My guess would be a car with a single DIN head unit made between about 1994 and 2008

The one thing I started making that I was just shown and isn't really a recipe at all is kind of a turkey chili thing...takes about 20 minutes once you've made it a few times, tastes good, and makes plenty for lunches.

best egg tip I've found recently (probably from a foodspin comment) is to start out like a "slow" omelette...medium heat your egg mixture until it is about set in a pan with some olive oil or something, then flop a tortilla on top. Wait a little for the tortilla to get nice and stuck to the egg, then flip it over

Why not? I cooked fish in mine the other night to no ill result. I seared the fuck out of it, so no fishy bits left over stuck to the pan.

That was certainly a high-water mark in Jalopnik F1 coverage. They even managed to somehow not spoil the race because the headline was always "here is your F1-recap in Crayon". Too bad they have lost that technology now, and it is too hard for them to not announce results on the front page.

Ok, counting school, then my max commute was...surprisingly 20 miles. That 20 miles could take up to 1.5 hours in traffic though. I beg to differ....it was pretty awful. Although learning to drive stick in bumper to bumper traffic on the interstate 3 times a week did not help either.

That's easy...a 3000gt.

I've built cars starting with an empty shell and only noticed the arrow on the gas gauge recently. Instead I noticed that imports usually have the door on the right and domestics usually have it on the left and went with that.

crap...totally this. I'm not in college anymore so my place does not need to look like a random assortment of furniture I've picked up here and there, but I am also not rich enough to go to a designer and be like "here, furnish this".

I kinda like the sound of this. I probably get more practical advice from Jolie and Al than anywhere else.
