The Tesla Model Y displaced the Toyota Corolla as the best selling car in the world last year.

In all but two of the comparisons above, the Tesla is faster, has longer range, and a lower price.  Only the EQs have better range, they are still slower and more expensive.

The theoretical capacity of the solar panels produced is a very squishy metric. I think your comparison is fishy. Solar just doesn’t produce anywhere close to it’s theoretical capacity, and it’s intermittent nature doesn’t allow decommissioning of current, more reliable on-demand powerplants.
