I mean, even with a huge love for whatever they do there, I just can not wrap my head around why ANYONE would want to spend ANY TIME in those places

No matter what we find, we will have people here that make damn sure that we do little to understand what we have found. I am sure that we could make a HUGE discovery and people will do their best to make sure little to no funding is given to NASA

And I am sure the major companies will do what they always do and try to get these companies to shut down somehow
