From context, I’d say that all they mean by “being contrarian” is that they’re typically skeptical of articles that make accusations or have a particular viewpoint slant, which is a perfectly reasonable stance that more people should have. But here the accusation seems pretty valid, and they agree.

How does this affect the flight? Is turbulence a thing in the sim? Are there downdrafts/updrafts causing unsavory altitude adjustments?
