I was thinking the “they dug too deep” trope as well (i.e., they’re all high on pollutants/hallucinating), but that wouldn’t explain the shared delusions, people seeing/hearing the same things. I suspect they won’t bother to explain that part, because ambiguity is too often used to replace good writing/logical

They are slightly better than indulgences. At least something happens when you pay carbon credits. They plant trees and shit. Indulgences are absolutely pointless and just religious greed by its own members exploiting morons.

So a friend is working for a business that has as its chief goal planting 10 billion trees. Another is fostering growth of new large-scale hydroelectric dams across the world. A third is helping drive investments in cheaper wind turbine manufacturing.

All of this discussion about her jets seems like it’s just falling into the right-wing trap of wanting to make the discussion about her negative, however possible.

We knew Hank was shady but multiple murder cover-ups feels like a swift about-face for the sad sack we last saw nursing his broken heart with an Elf rewatch.

I’m a little surprised that Kia hasn’t added AWD to the Carnival yet, especially given how much it plays up the SUV-like design

That quote gives way too much cover for all the assholes around.

I’m not sure we’re supposed to feel too bad for him. I read it more as “this asshole is going to snap when reality hits him.”

Danvers was being an unreliable narrator with Pete about the abusive husband case she and Navarro worked on. As we saw in the flashback, he killed his wife, but he was alive when they got there. I’m guessing Danvers or Navarro shot him in cold blood (pun intended). This is part of their complicated dynamic, a bond

The EQS weighs like 2,500 lbs more than the model 3. Plus, it probably has 22" wheels on it ultra-low profile tires. Just really bad configuration.

I never got mine, either, and I’m still fighting for a refund through PayPal. What a rip-off.

This is EXACTLY the correct answer.

If they’re letting just a few screws slide on airplane inspections, who knows what else is being overlooked or allowed to slide?

“If you see something, say something.”

Actually not true. Titanium is quite resistant to deformation in comparison to aluminum which is quite soft.  So, even a small drop which will not crack a screen will dent aluminum but not titanium

“love interest to Jodie Foster’s Detective Liz Danvers in True Detective Night Country”

Just my personal take, but titanium is dumb for phones. Just think: What is the advantage of titanium over high end aluminum? Strength to weight ratio. But you’ll never be in a position to test the strength without other parts of the phone (screen, mobo) breaking first. And weight advantages in a device this small is

Liz instructing Pete to ask the right question very much reminded me of SOTHL and how now Jodie Foster is, in this scene, playing the Hannibel Lecter role. Circle of pop culture life. I loved it. So if Pete is the male Clarice, let’s hope he doesn’t get dead.

Was that actually a corpse? I thought it was a dummy made with stuffed clothes. I don’t think the officers would have rushed over to the rink and left a body/crime scene unattended.

Hello! This is a late response to this, but please do not attempt to order these chocolates like I tried to. I ordered them in early November and it’s December 19th and I still have not received them. I did not get a refund until I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
I’ve also done some digging and are
