Regardless of what your actual opinion is about dealerships... what is the legal argument that justifies mandating their existence? And why wouldn’t the same “reasoning” apply to, say, Apple Stores? Why can Apple sell direct to the public, but not GM?

I am so confused; a singer is well within their rights to halt a show and call for unruly audience members to be tossed. Even the apology indicates their behavior was poor. She’s overthinking this. 

Cynical me says that even if we keep voting, and even if we keep gaining in numbers, the GQP will continue to change laws in order to keep them in power indefinitely. I hope that’s just my own internal discouragement and not reality, but it seems more like the later.

When they other person dies, that’s exactly how it works. These laws make it so that the only witness who matters is the shooter.

the shooter better like staying in her home forever. anyone in the neighbourhood can say “she’s a known killer and was walking towards me, I feared for my life so I had to shoot her before she shot me”.

It is clearly how it works in Florida.
