They just get more repetitive and exaggerated. He also starts switching up first and third person which is annoying. I'll still catch up every couple years when I'm stuck somewhere where they are the only palatable option, but he's on fumes now.

Carrion Comfort is his big King-ish book. I'd start there. Dated now, but still a great vampire book. His crime/noirish stuff (though the Hemingway in Cuba one is divisive, but I liked it well enough) is also notably tighter and faster paced since he keeps them short.
Why cast SJP is what I'm asking?
They should have just kept the plotline from the comics where SPOILERS MAYBE Luke knows all along who framed him and goes to Harlem specifically to fuck with him. He runs into Cottonmouth later.
But by the time KTM came out he was already rich and talking about his kids. Now he's even richer and has 10 more years of shitty kid jokes built up. I wanna believe, but I loathe kid based material.
Hey, I didn't spend all that time learning the alphabet (not to mention the DCC/LCC) for nothing you know!
I'll reshelf a whole damn row if it's wrong. I can't help myself.
I find it interesting that Laurie Anderson and Lou reed married since I have alot of the same problems with their work, mostly overreach ironically.
So did I AND I got paid for it. Work would shutdown as soon as coverage started and we'd all watch all damn day,the boss included. The roach coach basically camped out front.
Bedbugs suck, I'm sorry. I deal with them at work all the time, so I have a couple tips. First and foremost: unless you live like a Buddhist monk with no possessions, avoid the heat treatment. They never get it uniformly hot enough for long enough. The diatomaceous earth combined with pesticide combined with just…
Haven't you guys been growing tulips like that forever? I thought I
heard somewhere that a bunch of now-industry standard growing techniques
came from Nederland.
True enough. I don't really keep up, I'm fine with good old outdoor, especially at $100 an ounce. Pot has always had a snob factor and all the higher end varietals mean old standbys like green crack and trainwreck are dirt cheap now.
So, is the weed in NY still absolute shit? Granted, I've only spent maybe a year total in NYC (in the 80's even), but the weed was astonishingly bad. Half my family is from Humboldt so maybe I'm biased, but damn.
But are they TVDW A's (aka Girls A's) is what we are asking?
Catastrophe can't have a very demanding shooting schedule I wouldn't think.
I'd be alot more interested in Divorce if they had just gone ahead and cast Horgan as the lead.
Rock and Roll Animal might be a crappy Lou Reed album, but it's a stone classic 70's guitar album. Everyone likes Lou Reed Live, and it was the same damn show, only the production is different.
Canopies ARE actually extremely small now due to advances in materials. When I started it was common for average sized males to fly a canopy in the range of 225-250 square feet. By the time I left the sport some guys (nutty guys) were flying canopies as small as 67 square feet. Not this small obviously though.
Uh, the film isn't a documentary, so not sure what your point is.
From the actual article at the top of the page "Pontecorvo’s choice to mimic the visual aesthetic of documentaries—at which he succeeded so well that the original American distributor made a point of boasting that not a frame of newsreel footage appears"
George Segal, the poor man's Jack Lemmon.
