It's impossible to overstate how good Replicas is. It's as good as any pop record by anybody really.

Brody really needed to set off the bomb. Once they pussed out from doing that they were fucked because no one would ever take their "high stakes" seriously again.

You should really start with Westing honestly.

Well, Parker tailed off pretty quick after Squeezing Out Sparks so it's understandable. Personally, I think that's his only really great record, he ditches most of the blue eyed soul stuff and made a straight up rock record. Howling Wind and Heat Treatment have their moments, but they are nothing spectacular.

Speilberg has chops for days, but his taste is ass. See practically every flashy guitar player ever.

This right here is why folks hate Radiohead fans. STF about how how Radiohead doesn't get the respect they supposedly deserve and observe that this is a dance pop record and was judged as such.

Believe me, I'm pretty damn white and I don't get him either. It's generational for me though.

75? Shit, Ace Atkins probably wrote 76 last year.

IF she's trolling, she would automatically become my favorite not-so-vapid celebrity in an instant.

Oh, those are fighting words right there. Internet fighting words, but still.

I would upvote this 1000 times if I could. My wife and BIL devour his books the day they are released but I've failed every time I've picked one up, and I'm not all that choosy about my escapist lit.

Duller than the original? That must have taken some doing. I find that entire record a gigantic snoozefest.

No, anyone who orders a Turkey Reuben (not that there's any such thing) is FAR lower than an animal.

Though if this is a gimmick, it's fucking genius.

I too find the intense fervor this band commands pretty puzzling. However, it beats the shit out of listening to folks argue for 12 hours straight about the best live version of Estimated Prophet.

16 and 24 bit are the same.

Uh, DR5 is good now? 5? 70's Steely Dan regularly comes in at DR14 or 15. Whatever its other merits this record is brickwalled to shit.

Nope. Kids and their shenanigans are never funny. Ever. Well, maybe in Schindler's List when the little bastard didn't get the tub clean.

And a decent twee band by that name as well.
