LA is awesome if you're rich enough to get driven everywhere or you're some kind of soulless teetotaler. It sucks ass if you like to drink when you go out though.

Well, $10 though. My BIL is going, I'd be tempted to tag along except I fucking hate GnR.
There's a lossless sequenced full version with art floating around as well. a little compressed for my taste but not too bad. (DR9, if that means anything to you).
I didn't like Venice much, but Malibu is a fucking solid album (and I like less and less mainstream hip hop as the years go by).
Man, I'm glad I grew up in the vinyl era. I could get a new album every Friday while still affording lunch once a week. Helped that I just shoplifted all my books though (thanks AAFES!).
Hall and Oates get alot of shit but going to one of their shows in the 70's/80's was like being in a Chuck-E Cheese ballpit if that ballpit happened to be comprised of wet panties. You damn near needed waders.
I saw all those bands in their heyday, and none of them suck, except Foreigner (although the one time I saw Foreigner Page and Plant showed up which I'm not sure how to feel about).
Her and Barbara Carrera practically eliminated kittens from the face of the earth in the late 70s.
Believe me when I say the general perception of the Dead was entrenched well, well before the 80's. The 80's is just when alot of 70's Deadheads threw in the towel (the ones that made it past '77 that is) and the shows became all the freaks that couldn't move on + the college bros.
(70's) Instrumental Zappa really is the best Zappa.
I just started to dl it. I know Larry Sanders by heart, but I'm not sure I've seen Garry since it's original airing.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with a bowling alley bar (provided it's separate from the lanes).
I agree. Hip hop is only a couple years younger than punk, and there hasn't been a stone cold classic punk record in 25 years or more either. A lot easier to be innovative without 40 years of history bearing down on you.
Yeah, i had tickets to last nights show in Santa Ana and i skipped it just for this reason (that and the venue sucks absolute donkey balls)
It's always wet. You're usually covered head to foot in mud in no time. Unless you mean scuba diving wet, which I've tried a few times but it's not for me, even though I'm a pretty experienced diver.
I'm not familiar with Shelton, but a quick Wiki seems to show his credits outstrip hers at this point.
I'm sure her HS was at least 50% Latino so I believe it. The only lily white parts of her region of the OC are the beach towns and Irvine.
?? Her cultural appropriation was silly, but I promise you there are a shit ton of cholas in Orange County.
No fucking way is Marvel casting a 40 year old as SG. Even Kendrick is probably older than they want.
I feel horribly sorry for kids today. Your mom having the ability to track your every move must be the biggest drag of all time.
